GMEC Horsemanship Award

Ed and Lois's son, Richard Hoar, defines the award as being the "Whole of Horsemanship". To his parents, horsemanship did not mean being the best rider, handler or driver. It was the life skills taught, gained and passed on that were important. It was the fun of being at the show, around the people, the pride of being a horse owner and being with people who enjoyed horses.

The GMEC Horsemanship Award is given out each year in memory of Ed and Lois Hoar.

If you know a club member who demonstrates the qualities that identify this award, please fill out the nomination form. A vote will be held at our annual meeting in October to decide a winner.
